Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1-2 tablespoons of sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the mangoes)
- 1-2 cups of cold water (or ice cubes)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (optional, for a tangy flavor)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Mangoes:
- Wash the mangoes thoroughly.
- Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh away from the seed. Discard the seed.
- Blend the Mango:
- Place the mango pieces in a blender.
- Add sugar if you want to sweeten the juice further.
- Pour in 1 cup of cold water (or add ice cubes) to start. You can add more water later if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Blend Until Smooth:
- Blend the mango mixture until smooth. If the juice is too thick, add more water and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
- Add Lemon Juice and Salt (Optional):
- If you like a bit of tanginess, add a tablespoon of lemon juice.
- You can also add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
- Serve:
- Pour the mango juice into glasses.
- Serve immediately while it’s cold, or chill it in the refrigerator before serving.
- Garnish (Optional):
- Garnish with a mint leaf or a slice of lemon for a decorative touch.
